COMPOSER IN RESIDENCE – JURY MEMBER

Christian Jost, one of the most renowned star composers of his generation, has agreed to act as Composer in Residence for 2014. Christian Jost has written numerous solo concertos, including “TiefenRausch (DeepIntoxication) for Violin and Orchestra”, commissioned works for well-known orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, as well as operas and music drama, including those based on theatre works by Woody Allen and Roland Schimmelpfennig. These works represent music theatre for the 21st century, and are especially relevant to young people.
